TALLYWISE

Travel budgets, receipts, and reports

Tallywise Security Information

How Tallywise keeps travel-budget data under the user’s control.

Effective August 24, 2026

Security model

  • Local-first storage for trip, expense, receipt, rate, and preference data.
  • Optional Apple-managed iCloud and CloudKit sync across signed-in devices.
  • No Tallywise username, password, or developer-operated account database.
  • No advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
  • On-device receipt and budget-sheet recognition through Apple Vision and VisionKit.
  • User-initiated PDF and Excel-compatible spreadsheet exports.

Network access

The optional exchange-rate refresh retrieves public reference data from the European Central Bank over HTTPS. StoreKit communicates with Apple for product, purchase, and entitlement status. Tallywise does not intentionally send trip, expense, receipt, or report contents with those requests.

Permissions

Tallywise uses camera or photo access only for a capture, attachment, or optional receipt backup you initiate. Budget alerts use local notification permission. The app does not request location access.

Report a security issue

Email support@makerhub.app with a clear description, steps to reproduce, Tallywise version, Apple platform, and helpful screenshots or logs. Do not include sensitive receipt or expense information unless it is necessary to demonstrate the issue.

Tallywise is an independent EvaluationSpark product for Apple platforms.
