Makerspace Basics

These baseline standards apply in every lab session, regardless of tool type.

• Rule 1

  Wear required personal protective equipment for the active station.

• Rule 2

  Use tools only after instruction and explicit permission from a teacher.

• Rule 3

  Keep walkways, exits, and fire controls unobstructed at all times.

• Rule 4

  Report damaged tools, unsafe behavior, and injuries immediately.

• Rule 5

  Clean and reset stations before leaving the workspace.
